DoingIt LLC (“we”, “our”, “us”) built the Новости СМИ + Дзен Лаунчер app as a free Android launcher application. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect data when users install and use our launcher.

1. Information We Collect

a. Device & Usage Data

We collect anonymous technical and usage data to improve the app’s performance, such as:

• Android version and device model
• Crash reports and performance metrics
• Launcher interaction (app launches, icon arrangement, swipes, etc.)

b. App List Access

We request access to the installed app list to:

• Display apps on the home screen
• Enable shortcuts, dock, and grid layout

We do not transmit this data off-device.

c. Location (Optional)

If you use the integrated news widget, we may request approximate or precise location to deliver local content. Location is accessed only with user consent.

d. Ads & Analytics

The app uses:

• Google AdMob for PG-13 rated advertising
• Firebase Analytics for anonymous app usage tracking

These services may collect:

• Advertising ID
• IP address
• Device identifiers
• App usage events

2. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to:

• Render and personalize the launcher interface
• Improve app performance and fix bugs
• Serve contextual, PG-13 appropriate ads

We do not sell or share your data except with the analytics and ad services noted above.

3. Android Permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

• PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS: to show recently used apps (optional)
• QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: to list all installed apps (Android 11+)
• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: for the news widget (optional)

• You can uninstall the app at any time to stop all data collection
